Web Form - WordPress - Web Form HTML (no styling) Example

bulb_dim.png   This document assumes you already have a self-hosted wordpress site.  As of article publication date:  JavaScript, iFrames, plugins etc. cannot be used on blogs hosted at WordPress, this is due to security concerns.  If you need assistance on using an Instant Customer form on the WordPress site, please contact their support department.  

How do I use my Instant Customer web form with WordPress?   This is a common question, but there's no one-size-fits-all answer. Each web page is different and has different requirements. 

In this example, we are going to use an HTML  Javascript plugin for demonstration purposes. bulb_dim.png Please note, Instant Customer does not provide support for WordPress plugins.  A support link to the developer is usually found on the page where you downloaded the plugin.  You can also search support forum  

Search for a plugin for adding JavaScript, HTML plugin at   Remember, there are many plugins in the directory.  You need to review the ratings and comments to find the plugin best suited for your needs.  Download the plugin and follow the installation instructions. 

The plugin for adding JavaScript, HTML scripts used in this example is found here: 

1.  Go to your WordPress admin panel.  The URL is similar to 

2.  From your admin dashboard, click on Plugins.


3.  Now click on the Add New button.

4.  Enter in HTML Javascript

5.  Select the appropriate iframe from the list and click Install Now.  In this example, I am going to use the HTML Javascript Adder By Aakash Chakravarthy.

The installation instructions for this particular plugin are: 


  • Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
  • Go to the Widgets settings page.
  • Drag the "HTML Javascript Adder" from the "Available widgets" to your sidebar.
  • That's all.


  • Just add a widget.
  • Enter the title and required content.
  • Check the boxes present below to show/hide the widget in specific pages.
  • Click save. 

6.  Be sure to Activate Plugin after it has successfully installed.


7.   Now you can add the Web Form HTML (no styling) found on my Instant Customer campaign dashboard into a page.


8.  Go to the Appearance area on the left-hand side of the screen and click on the Widget.


9.  Now locate the HTML Javascript Adder widget in the available widgets screen.  Click on the widget and select Add Widget button. 


10.  Now paste the Web Form HTML (no styling) code copied from the Instant Customer dashboard.  Check the boxes to show/hide the widget in specific pages.  Click Save.


11.  Go back to the Pages area to View the page with new widget form.  


bulb_dim.png You may need to visit the developers documentation and/or support forum for information on how to make adjustments to the iframe.  In this example, the developer provides additional parameters that can be used to fine tune the iFrame.
